Timeline

Monday, January 5 - Flyer completed and to Mrs. Goettel.

Wednesday, January 7 - Announcement written and to Mrs. Shumway/Mr. Sonnen.

Friday, January 9 - Posters completed and hung up around school.  Reps go into classrooms to share information about the Clothing Drive.  Announcement over the intercom.

Monday, January 12 - Clothing Drive Begins

Friday, January 16 - Clothing Drive Ends

Drive Information

Clothing can be anywhere from infant to high school age sized.  Items should be gently used and in good condition.  Coats are badly needed.  Also, underwear and socks need to be new.

Class reps need to find a container (box or big bags) for the clothing to go into.

Second Meeting - December 9

The 2nd meeting was held on Tuesday, December 9 at 12:20.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved (see minutes on the right)

We received and read a letter from Annie's Community Kitchen thanking us for our Food Drive.

We began planning for our upcoming CCC Clothing Drive (see next post).  Members shared things they did to motivate their classes to bring in items for the food drive.

Drive Information

When:  November  17-21^st

What to Bring:  Boxed Stuffing, Apple Sauce, Boxed Mashed Potatoes, Canned Green Beans, Gravy Mix, Canned Corn, Canned Cranberry Sauce, Evaporated Milk, Canned Sweet Potatoes, Canned Pumpkin Pie Mix. 

 No perishable items that could spoil!

First Meeting - Tuesday, Nov. 4

Our first meeting is today!  Please remember to bring a pencil and your lunch to the library at 12:20.  See you there!

Intermediate Classrooms Need to Select Room Representatives

Intermediate classrooms should elect their classroom representatives to CCC either today (10/30) or tomorrow (10//31).  The names of the elected person and alternate should be placed in Mrs. Shumway's mailbox in the office.
