The 5th meeting of the Sherwood CCC was held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 12:25pm.
Old Business
Coins for Kids drive results were in! The treasurer reported that we earned $735.36 for Coins for Kids. They said that we were one of the top 5 schools in the district in raising money. Members shared how they motivated their classes to give. The top class was Mrs. Hirst's 1st grade class.
We also discussed successes during word day.
Day of the Decades
Dressup day is coming soon, this Friday (3/27). CCC members are to go into their classes to tell them about the day and some suggestions that might help them. An email has been sent out and there will be an announcement on Wednesday. B.B. & M.B. will do the announcements.
Next meeting is in April.

Fourth Meeting - February 24, 2015
The fourth CCC meeting of the 2014-15 school year was held on Tuesday, February 24 in the Sherwood Library.
Old Business: We reviewed the clothing drive. We talked about what things went well and what we could work on.
Word Day: Representatives will go into classrooms to tell their classes about word day. They should go in today (2/24) or tomorrow (2/25). Intercom announcement will be read on Thursday morning (2/26).
Announcements (2/26): K.E.
Photographers (2/28): to be determined
Coins for Kids: This fund drive is coming. Reps will be making their own container for the coins. They should be done by Friday (2/27). Everyone shared ideas to motivate the kids in their classes. Reps should visit their classrooms once we receive the bags for coins. The drive will go until March 13 (two weeks).

Third Meeting - January 13
The CCC met on Tuesday, January 13. The main topic of discussion was the brainstorming of ideas for upcoming spirit days and then deciding the days.
The proposed days will be:

Career Day

Fandom Day
Crazy Hair Day
Mrs. Shumway will take the list to the teachers for final approval and then they will be scheduled.
We problem solved about CCC members taking photographs on spirit days.
We also problem solved about getting the word out.
